Well the tail end of the tropical storm paid me a visit.I would say 40 to 50 percent of leaves. have buckled over at stem where it comes out of vines.this has kinked the stems. What should i do now?Just leave it alone and see how much it recovers?Trim them off?The main is about 10to12 foot long.It looks like half of plant is missing.Does this mean plant is finished for the season??Any comments or suggestions

These plants have the ability to put out a lot of new leaves in a short time. I would wait a while and trim off any leaves tht start to die. It is early in the season with plenty of time to recover.

I have a few leaves that have been bent from wind. The leaves are bent and completely severed except for one side of the stalk. It's been 2 weeks and the leaves aren't dead yet so I can only assume that they are still contributing to the growth of the plant. IMO keep them until they show signs of rot.
