Hello, I have resisted planting Atlantic Giants for a few years but will be taking the plunge this spring. I have been reading what I can get my hands on and have some space put aside. Do any of you have suggestions for acquiring my first seed? I know that there are websites and auctions offering seed, but I am not familiar with all of the crosses or which websites offer the best product. I am hoping to find seed producing good color and shape- great size would be a bonus.
I would appreciate any advice you might have.

Hi. Most growers out there will give you great seed for free. All you do is send a bubble pack (addressed to YOU and stamped with 63c) in a manilla envelope to a person that offers you some and they will be glad to help. Also include a little note or this web page or something to remind us what we are sending you. My address to send one is

Ted, if you want to email me, I would send some seeds your way. I am a second year grower in 2006, but have learned alot on here, met many nice and giving people and aquired some good seeds this year. So if you would be willing to spring for a self addressed stamped bubble envelope, I will send you some seeds. How hot does it get in your area. Is it normally a wet area(rain) or a dry area. If you secide to email me and send a bubble out to me, I can help decide what seeds from my collection would do best in you area and weather.
