I was just wondering what are some great vegetables that kids love to grow? Thanks for any help!

My son loved doing potatoes espcially when we grew them in a garbage can he loved digging in the ground for the tubers.

Bird House Gourds.......run them up an apple tree or back row fence. They grow with great vigor. They pop six to a dozen gourds that make nice birdhouses. The project is full of kid action. My grandson loved the whole deal and we got a Blue Bird and a Wren the following year, in his gourds.

Stephen has enjoyed Tomatoes, Carrots, Potatoes, Beans (easy) & Peanuts. He & my wife both get a kick out of Sunflowers too.
