This was my first year growing a Burpee Prizewinner from standard Burpee seed and I ended up with a beautiful 330 pounder. My progress is in my diary if interested. Thanks for all who helped me out this year.

Mike Frantz crossed a PW with the 922.5 Emmons. I crossed that seed with the 940 Mombert '98 (kept the 922.5 lineage going) I have crossed that seed (208 Little) since then with a 940 Mombert '00 and then this year with the 846 Jutras. The 208 produces gorgeous pumpkins that have been grown to over 500#, other offspring just as pretty. What's my point? Grow that 330# seed next year and cross it with a *known* and *proven* AG color seed and you'll get a cross that puts out killer color pumpkins for selling or decorating.
