Hi Suzy, Sorry I'm late if I read this right your salts are at 798 ppm? if thats the case, its a problem. the only thing that I know is gybsum, It will leach out the salts, but you really cant till it in now. are you pollinating early when its cool? if you are shade them too. Lots of us around here are having problems setting fruit it's the heat. let the main keep growing, and keep pollinating, and use a couple of frozen water bottles near the female to create a micro climate fruit might set better. Those salts do need to be leached. I would wait for the season to end, then apply 200 lbs of Gypsum per 1000 sq ft before winter. Make sure if the winter is dry to irrigate enough to leach them out.
