I had a baby pumpkin on my plant and i didnt even get the chance to pollinate it and it died so i think. The whole flower and baby pumpkin have been there maybee a week with little or no growth. Is it died because of the heat i get here which with humidiy can reach 100 degrees or is it just one of those things of nature.

It is probably the heat. Over 90 is tough for the developing overaies.

Go to online catalog of Dripworks, of California. Read up on their misting systems. Temperatures in the patch can be lowered twenty degrees or more with effective misting. All of the basic needs are in that catalog with reasonable guidelines. They will help you after you figure out what you think the basics you think you would need.

Shade cloth would help too.
