I have and I will cull some AG pumpkins at about 20-40 lbs. What can I do with them? Can they be used in the kitchen, for soup etc. even if they are harvested/culled premature?

If they are small cut them up in chunks. Then get some potatoes and onions and quarter them up. Then I normally have about a gallon of cut up potatoes, onions, pumpkin at this point. I then take 1/3 cup Olive oil, 1/4 cup sugar, Some fresh herbs like Rosemary and basil, Salt and Pepper. Mix them all together. Mean while your large frying pan is getting hot add the vegetable mix. Slowly turning it as the vegetables start to brown.

I have even eat the small ones, 10 to 20 lbs raw like water melon. Actually quite sweet, similar to summer squash

I've thinly sliced them and fried them up like zucchini slices. I dip the slices in egg, coat them with flour, corn meal, salt, pepper, and garlic, and fry them until the outside is crispy. I'm not a big fan of zucchini but this was good!

Make sure you keep away from the sytemics if you are going to eat anything othewise you will end up either in the bathroom or worse, the hospital.

Rob, thanks for your input.
I used systemics only once or twice and that was very early and even before pollination.
The pumpkin ragout tasted excellent. Also had a soup. Of course added some carrots for colour. I`m an ornge eater lol.
