There's a pic in my diary now, but my wheel shaped pumpkin is leaning backwards as it grows. I know that fruit that grow with the stem side facing down are called birdbaths, but what's the deal with this one? What casues that?

I have put a sloped board in behind it now, in hopes that as it expands, the board will encourage it to grow more evenly. Is this a decent solution? At the moment, from the side, this thing looks like Jay Leno!

James, it looks good to me and is growing at a nice pace. Just do what you are doing and allow some slack in those vines as the fruit shifts upward.
