First thing that happend this week was my biggest pumpkin broke off the vine when i was trying to move it a bit, im hoping my others will catch up and grow big too.
second i had a small stroke and my left hand and arm is kinda floppy so its alot tougher to work in the garden. Im hoping i will get control of my hand back soon <fingers crossed>
anyone else having any bad luck this growing year yet?

Lot's of bad luck, I wish you a speedy recovery, i'm more worried about that, get well, and then grow'em big in that order.

First...Get well soon. Don't over-do anything while on the mend but....
Second...Keep growing. It is good therapy so long as the doctor approves of what & how you're doing things. I've had to modify tools & the patch layout to accomadate a physical disability.
Let others know you need help & you will get it. Pumpkin folks are like this.

All strokes are dangerous. About fifteen years ago I had one too. Lost right side in differing degrees. Modest consistant exercise brought me back to just fine if not as good as before. It took about a year until I could work the keyboard and begin to think about shooting my bow. The other option would not be nice. :) Keep working at it. More than likely you will recover nicely.

Shoulder surgery, cold weather and frost, drought and high temps, broken tiller. I know where you are coming from. I just hope your recovery goes as well as mine has. Listen to your doc and physical therapists and do just as they tell you. They really know what they are talking about.

After reading your post I have nothing to complain about. I have my health. Get well soon and keep growing.

my dad had stroke ten years ago, he's recovered now - you're doing the right thing - stay active, garden work will do you fine, check out wellness literature possibly - my garden is doing great, but i was also trying to swim competively, and got rear ended which screwed up my back, so no swimming for a while, but getting in that garden and looking at stuff on this site makes up for it - keep it going
