this is my first year planting ag and i would like to thank big pumpkins for sending me the seeds. i have a few questions if anyone lives in north carolina could you tell me the best time to start the seeds. next what is the best organic material that everyone uses i want to start my first ag year off right. does anyone have an example of a planting chart? thanks for all the help and i will keep everyone posted on progress.

have any neighbors with cows??? cow manure is good...so is horse manure...compost is always good....maple leaves....those are good things to put in the garden, but make sure the manure is aged, not too fresh, older, the better.

thanks case, but no cows i bought a bunch of manure should i let it set in the bags or till it under. would it be ready when i plant my pumpkins in may?also is organic humus any goog i got some of that along with peat humus.thanks for all replies in advance.

Kwass, Till it in, if it sits for to long the nutrients will form amonias and will disappear from the manure. Tom
