powdery mildew can be controlled organicly, with "neem oil"
Read directions carefully, and add two table spoons of baking soda per gallon, works like a charm here, spray in evening so you dont kill the bees

good luck

Captan can be found at most garden supply stores last i looked. i'm assuming you're not looking for it for the PM. I've heard of a spot or two of PM showing up already, so that could be it. there's a couple growers out in your area that i could put you in touch with. just send me an email if you're interested.

hope to see you in cooperstown this fall.

Lance,
Get immunox for the powdery mildew and daconil, alternate weekly sprays (lighter dose, weekly sprays).
As far as captan, get a sulphur fungicide, captan causes cancer.

Captan does not do milldew at all. Must add sulphur or other fungicide that is more effective with Captan. Captan is labeled for Downey Milldew.

Go to Agway or other farm supply, Lowes or other large chemical sales outlet. Read the labels. There are no longer to many choices.

To the above rotation you could add Neem Oil which is very effective at controll and cure of Powdery Milldew. Seems to work even better with two tablespoons full of Baking Soda per gallon of mix. You will find the same chemicals in some commercial fungicides. This will not harm the Neem Oil.
