Check my diary, but the first 4-5 male flowers on the main are pretty sick looking, and never opened. They kind of went brown and died off. Further down the main, the flowers are looking better, but what could have caused the first few to fade like that? Is it a soil imbalance? Should I throw a little 10-30-15 in there?

I just looked that the picutre ... to be honest I don't know why that happened ... if i had to guess i'd say
maybe heat stress ... did the weather turn from cool to hot when they were forming ?
