One...and only one...of my plants was totally wilted when I got home from work today. 529 Brinkley I started overhead watering and it looked like it was starting to recover. All plants had shown small amounts of heat wilt on most of the last 10 days (over 90). Curious why all of a sudden it totally wiped out just one plant. Any thoughts? Peace Wayne

Plant looks almost normal this a.m. I guess I need to start a misting program of some sort. Any info on locally available, inexpensive, simple systems. By local, I guess I mean Lowes, Home Depot, etc. Thanks for all ideas. Peace Wayne

Same major wilting on Fri., started before noon. Leaves along first 6 feet or so of main vine are now visibly yellowing. Any ideas on a fix for this problem? All ideas appreciated. Peace Wayne

Carefully & gently poke around for a look at the roots. They should be white & firm. They should not have any brown spots (root rots) or raggedy looking cuts (insects). The should also not contain knots (Root Knot Nematodes).

Any of these conditions would compromise the root systems ability to find & transport the needed water for "upstairs".

SVB??? did anyone else think that? I've never seen SVB damage firsthand, so I don't know for sure.

SVB rarely takes the entire plant all at once. If it does, misting won't help.
