Just like many of us, I am new to this hobby of growing a big one. Each day, I have more questions and of course, thanks to many of you, I can find the answers. I suspect this has been asked many times before but I could not find an answer. Here is my question, what causes leaves to turn yellow. Yesterday, the vines were looking great. This morning I went out and discovered yellow leaves close to the stalk. Is this something of concern and if so, what causes it and how do I prevent it. Frank

Many reasons for leaves turning yellow....Here are a few.
pH is off. If it is, the plant will not properly absorb the nutrients it needs.
Low Iron Low Nitrogen Too little water Too much water Old age Chemical burn
Soil test may be the most benificial.
Do the leaves still have green veins?

Frank,
What's the weather been like the past 5 days? How much water have you applied? Any spraying? What, when & how much? Powdery Mildew, mites, etc can all be considered too.
