I have read and seen in diaries, some folks pollinate a 'kin on a secondary, as sort of a shock absorber. Question is, where? Should the shock absorber be on a early secondary that is quite long, or on a newer secondary, closer to the end of the main? I have so many females showing up that I can sort of pick and choose where to pollinate. Good problem, huh? Thanks for all advice. Peace Wayne

Growing a second fruit takes away from the objective fruit. It may do what you suggest, in which case it could be anywhere. The plant feeds and cares for it's needs.
