Okay..wasn't sure where to post this so I thought here would be a good start..early woodchuck damage left stalks standing...but I saw some leaves, minor ones so I thought I'd take a chance to see if I could get pollinators from em...805 pukos and 869.5 calai...the leaves are growing but the first vine is about 18" up....my plan is to rebury the whole thing till the vine is out about 6"...pull all the dirt down to it ...does this sound reasonable??.Getting greedy here going from hoping for pollen to maybe a plant..but would prefer to have at least pollen then losing everthing. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks Chuck

I say go for it Chuck! Couple seasons ago, I trained all my secondaries at the edge of the patch, up 6' tomatoe stakes. Had a great leaf thing going until the wind kicked up good! Best of luck, Duff.
