Ok, I had no idea what I was doing and started my seeds way to early. I dont want to lose all my hard work on the patch and everything. So, I guess my question is would anybody want to share some seeds with me? I am thinking I might just have a "second generation" of pumpkins. I'm not even sure if the AG's I got are really AGs, ya know. Sigh. Help!

Not A Clue...I just saw your diary.Your pumpkin patch looks kind of small. Each pumpkin plant you grow will take "approximately" a 25foot x 25 foot area. Go to amazon.com and order the book "How To Grow World Class Giant Pumpkins II.It's a great help and will help you from making some first time growers mistakes. And of course dont hesitate to ask questions here.It is not that unusual for a first year grower to grow a 500 pound pumpkin or more.Good Luck,Phil.

I also took a look at your diary.... looks like your hothouse is about 30 to 40 sq. ft. and you had at least 10 plants in that space. WAY too many!!!
The absolute minimum for one plant is 300 sq.ft. if you want a big one. Up to 500lbs can be done in 100 sq.ft.

Were you planning to let the plants fill up the lawn?
If so, I would still not plant more than 4 plants in that hothouse, one at each corner, at least 3ft. apart.
