hey i was wonderin if you gous could tell me when to start growing my seeds if there is anything else u guys can tell me i would really appreaciate it i would like to grow a big pumpkin for my first year.

I beleive it depends on alot on where you live. Im here in the central valley of calif. I think i will start in May. We usally don,t have any frost after the 10th of march here. But I don,t believe it does any good to start pumpkins here in April. we still have cool winds and some rain still. If you are in Ohio you might start latter than May there. I am still a rookie at this too so i read all of the coments from everyone here to get some kind of idea on what and where and how to grow these pumpkins here...Greg
