I think the elite were so afraid of the freedom truckers they dropped all the inane rules just to diffuse and pre-empt any real protest.

Covid ending? Rules on masks were dropped once liberal hypocrites like AOC were spotted in Florida partying without masks. Same can be said on the San Fran Mayor. Once they were ousted, the tune was changed, or "science" changed. Putin is backfill.

I always thought the "follow the science" thing was a sort of "cool kids hugging the nerds" thing. I didnt think it was a bad schtick.

But now I think its more like, "We dont deserve to go to prison, because we didn't know any better, even though we made huge profits and some of us DID know better. In other words, they weren't just jocks seeking to be friends with those with book smarts... what they are is con artists seeking get out of jail free cards.

I've downgraded my assessment of the "follow the science" trope from unintelligent, down to nefarious.

The faster it all goes away, in an under the carpet manner, rather than a celebratory manner, the more fake it seems to have been in the first place.

me & wife know of more than 4 people that did die ,one was my wifes old neighbor my wife knew for 40 yrs, my brothers wife (55 yrs old),my neighbor dad (approx. 50-55 yrs old)i saw him on my street 2 days before, he looks like hell coughing. and my wife brothers wife , none were vaccinated, Most were not against vaccine just did not get around to getting shot, only my neighbor was apposed to vaccine (none were vaccinated).we also have a freind who was really sick for 2 months.

Lucky for you you didnt get one of the bad batches of vaccines. I'll leave roulette to the russians! When someone I trust says they are safe, then I'll get vaccinated. For now, natural immunity is better than the vaccines. I'm really disappointed at how narrow minded, low tech, and experimental, the response has been.

Maybe next time we shouldnt run a gene therapy experiment on billions of people. Pfizer's vaccine increased all-cause mortality. So its crap.

No, fear of shots is perfectly appropriate. Because scientifically speaking, a nasal spray vaccine should be more effective and have less side effects like blood clots. They are too lazy and stupid to come up with better products because they are immune from lawsuits and too many people are gullible. Shots are not a good way to prevent an airborne disease. An airborne vaccine should be the best way to create immunity to an airborne disease. Tetnus or something could make more sense as a shot.

Anyhow without accountability, we can pretty much assume that we will continue to be offered crappy products. Human nature when unaccountable:
