Everyone is living there life as if they were in the second person. (living it as if they were watching it on tv, or a video game)
The car is literally sinking and rather than trying to get off she is just standing on the car taking pictures? I would have been off that car so fast. I am pretty sure she could have spread out her weight and crawled to safety. If the ice was thin the car would have kept cracking it's way down river.

Something was way off there.As in her oars never touched the water:)The rate of speed she was driving on the river before finding the thin ice suggested mental illness,suicide or drug impairment.
