Does the vaccine passport idea violate the notion of "innocent until proven guilty"? Shouldnt we assume people ARE vaccinated (but then hold them liable accountable if, after some alleged criminal offence, they are found to not be vaccinated?) While this is essentially a nonsensical argument at face value, isnt the idea of "proving your innocence" BEFORE being allowed to proceed with normal "life liberty and pursuit of happiness" against the grain of freedom this country was built on? There is a warping of our minds here, in our uppity response to covid (where everyone is prejudged a threat to everyone else) that could end up spilling over into & weakening the judicial foundations of this country?

I'm just sharing a viewpoint that maybe no one has thought of. Theres lots of opposition to in-your-face-tyranny. But as covid nonsense goes on longer, it's the deeper subconscious issues that will subtly change us and take us to new places that we may not really want to go.

Places we might be wise to avoid...?

Yeah but the politicak left used to encompass liberal ideals... used to be freedom loving/ justice loving, and stand up for the meek and for kids and the environment... those good qualities are there still I'm sure... but I dont think those lofty ideals are truly represented at the higher levels if power. I think a lot of liberals (in the traditional, not derogatory sense if the word) must also be wondering what the heck is going on. Because the way the government is trying to win these battles is all wrong.

For example, fighting racism WITH racist policies. Fighting poverty by going into debt... These are stupid solutions that wont yield the (supposedly) desired result.

Beating a dead horse here, I think most people know this! The flaw in the moral debate over abortion is not about whether the woman has a choice, really it's that the baby doesn't get a choice. Babies become conscious in the womb. They are born conscious and it's not like the birth is what wakes them up out of unconsciousness. They're very active and conscious in the womb well before they are born. Well that's what the science says!!! I'll shut up now.

The majority of abortions are based on various fears and inconvenience to the mother? In the animal world some moms eat their babies if they are stressed. And humans get similarly stressed and I dont think people that make bad choices should be judged harshly, but I think its good if we can recognize that in most cases that life begins soon after sex, not birth. (Biologically this is true.) One of the most helpful things I was ever taught was that the purpose of sex is procreation. Because if you lose sight of that basic truth... then you can get pretty lost.


Im getting no further into a touchy subject... I'm not gonna take any positions other than to say that rational thinking emotional thinking might come together and work out some kind of acceptable detente.
