I dont really care they been doing this since the invention of film and television... FDR was portrayed to not be crippled.

There is a impressive digital capability for image modifications. We will see these in the future (we probably already are). Maybe a legal disclaimer should say "not a real image/ not for factual use" kind of like: a lot of food nowadays ought to be labelled "for pleasure of consumption/ not real food"?

I think Cspan is not modified.
Which is why it's as popular as gruel for breakfast. Maybe we need to discipline ourselves into consuming stale-cardboard news, not entertainment that pretends to be news.
