Greetings Earthlings,

You have been the subject of observation and experimentation for centuries. The Universe is inspired by your giant pumpkin growing. We are grateful for all that we have learned and we will be abducting several of you to put to work in the intergalactic giant program. I don’t know, Dr. Funkenstein. Things sure have gone bad here on Earth lately, but can we really fix things by liberating our minds with love and music? That probably sounds far-fetched to a lot of people and some people would rather relive the tension of their anxiety by arguing with strangers on the internet, who appear to them as avatars of their neighbors who are the true object of their rage. It all seems really weird to me and your answer sounds too simple.

I’m not sure if there’s a connection... but I got the idea of replacing our political system with carnival games at right about the same time Dr. Funkenstein started posting. It came to me in a dream. There were bright colors. There was a lot of smoke. And this idea was given to me by a man in a spacesuit with a giant Afro. I’m pretty sure that I heard Bootsy Collins on bass too.
