This isn’t an end post- please keep doing what you’re doing. It is so refreshing to get an insight into the people who post here. Yeah yeah, we all have our political opinions, but we have more in common than we do otherwise. I don’t get excited about much but this is very enlightening. I like to know what makes people tick and for that I thank you.

I first got onto this website almost 20 years ago, when I was about 13 years old. When I saw the post that Ken made about this board, I just wanted to do something to get some content on here that would break the toxic pattern that had developed. It’s really disrespectful to him to turn this board into a cesspool of petty feuds between keyboard warriors. It’s refreshing to see people talking about “other non-pumpkin related” things where we aren’t burning bridges.

That was a looooong day, Tom, lol. Tried driving through the night to save on the hotel. My boy was only 2 and a half, he woke up when we put him in the truck and somehow stayed awake the whole way, through the weighoff and finally crashed late afternoon.

Why is wrong to argue politics? or anything? People that get angry in a discussion about religion or other topics I think are closed minded.Maybe we should have a religious & political thread for those who like to vent.I thought that what this was? Id rather see people vent on here then on the freeway.Its healthy to spew your anxiety somewhere.I think this quite harmless & amusing at times.Ken could do a Warm & Fuzzy non related Thread & maybe a Time to vent your Opinions thread. Its very therapeutic. LOL

Hey Andy, it’s hard to believe that was 12 years ago already. It’s a shame that Longwood Gardens didn’t work out long-term; that was a cool venue for a weigh-off.

I’m with you, Iowegian. The issue was never that politics or religion should be off limits; the issue was that a small number of people drove everyone else away by taking over threads with personal attacks and petty BS.

It's nice because it's pretty clean here compared to elsewhere. If you step in it stop n take off your shoes dont track it all through the house. I am not perfect... If my shoes are too dirty let me know.
