I got my first shot today. Who else got vaccinated?

Nope not yet. We're probably not going to see any real numbers until after Joe Biden takes office. He's going to invoke the defense production act and speed it up. I would like to be vaccinated by the end of March 1st of April.

Hey Frank or Time, how did you get to the front of the line? Are you a healthcare worker, first responder, front line essential worker, 80+ years old?

Just curious, in Canada they are distributing covid vaccines to the most needed (care Homes), all healthcare workers, police, firefighters, essential services workers etc...

As a healthy 57 year old male, I’m last on the eligibility list.

I work in a retirement community North Shore. Tina in a Hospital. So we both got it early.
They gave us a choice though and not all of my co- workers took it. But its still running rampant here so I figured I'd take advantage of the opportunity.
I dodged covid as is, 6 of my cooks already had covid as did several servers, so I'm almost surprised I didn't get infected yet. I was skeptical at first, but there's people dying in their 40's to and even younger, so I changed my mind. Why roll the dice if you can precautions, right?

Agreed F&T, thanks. I will get vaccinated when it’s my turn, I know of only a handful of people that will choose not to, but in my view it’s a strange choice.

Please, if you get the chance, take the shot. Even if it makes you feel a little sick for a few days, that is better than being on a ventilator or, worse yet, dead. Go with the science.

I am not getting the shot yet. I already had covid, so I should have some immunity I don't go anywhere except the hospital, where everyone is screened, given hand sanitizer and a mask. I am still on chemo, which messes with the immune system. The shot might not work or it could make me very sick. Or it might work just fine. Until more people get the shot so we have more information, I will hold off on the shot. But at least it is a choice, the way it should be. If the shot proves safe and effective I probably will get it

Not the best article ever but still worth reading.

I would really encourage people to search for the long term side effects of Covid-19. Both the long term physical and mental effects including the latest psychotic ones popping up. Might give you a better understanding of you know "things"
And the vaccine is mostly allergy related and rare.
