Hi, All,
I have to ask this, because it has been concerning to me. I never had problems with gummy stem blight or angular leaf spot until I started using Neptune's Harvest faithfully. Have any of you noticed any disease increase with use of Neptune's?

Chris, I've been using Neptune's Harvest for a few years now with what I think are pretty good results. Powdery mildew becomes an issue every year here, and I now apply it to my zuc's, squash, gords, and anything else in the garden until the sprayer is empty. I think it has made a big difference at least in delaying the onset of powdery mildew and maybe other uglies...who knows? Bets of luck, Duff

Duff,
Thanks. Probably just a coincidence that I've seen these diseases onset at same time as using lots of Neptune's BUT...I know that too much Nitrogen is associated with disease susceptibility, so that is one thing. The other that I have wondered about is whether hot, humid weather PLUS Neptune's might be more likely to lead to disease than cooler (more northern) weather. Any Southern growers have a comment on this? -- Chris
