Does anyone have concerns with leaving a wet towel on the pumpkin causing fungus issues. Those who are doing this...how often do you soak the towel? Do you let it dry between soakings? Once a week?

I use a towel on my pumpkins as a sunscreen and to hold nutrients against the pumpkin. I soak it about twice a week, but it is dry within about 3-4 hours. No problem with fungus. Craig
