Funny Jim :0) Put "compost tea" in the site search box, or Google it, and you'll get enough info to keep you busy for a few days. The topic is way too broad to put it all into this thread....

Compost tea is great to use. This will be my second year using it. I think it works great. I have a more advance system this year in making it

Jake...the link above, taunton.com, is a good place to start. I use the method exactly as they have described and am completely happy with my compost tea brews. They seem to have a positive effect on the plant after application. I've also noticed less pest problems since using this method.

Like killer said the stuff tastes awful and it gave me the trots too. In the future I'll only use it on the plants.

Stan, You must have drove him crazy with your whopper pumpkins growing in all that nasty ole sewage sludge!
TheByrd, we make our aerobic tea in five gallon buckets with worm castings/compost tied up in old panty hose, seaweed concentrate, a splash of fish emulsion, and 3 table spoons of molasses, sometimes we add a little Epsom salt for magnesium and a little Comfrey. Bubble it for 72 hours and foiliar spray/drench. We are trying to stay 100% organic this season so far the plants are very healthy.

Gad's That sounds like it is pretty close to my home made brew. I let it brew only about 48 hours before use. Using it for all my garden plants now.
