i was just wondering since i am new to growing AG's what is a good feeding and watering schedule i used alot of compost and manure for the soil and i am gonna use neptunes fish and seaweed for foliar feeding and how long should i wait to fertilize after using sevin dust as every one can tell i am lost.

Fertilizer & Sevin can be applied on the same day, though some of the dust will be removed if applied first. So seaweed could be soil only on those days. Lighter rates of seaweed can be applied daily if desired. Some growers do this in the hope of supressing disease. So if the product you have called for 2 oz per gallon per week, you could use one quarter ounce every other day without harm.

A good rule of thumb with fertilizer of any kind: Less applied more frequently is considered desirable. Just keep the total appied in line with soil test & manufacturer recommendations (or less).

Water is based on temperature & soil type. Generally speaking, AG's require 1 inch of water per week & up to 1.5 inches when it's hot. That aside, heavy soils that drain slowly will require some degree less. Sandy soils a little more. Experience is the best teacher here. We use rain-gauges at several points about the yard including 1 right in the patch. I prefer to see the top 1/2 inch of soil dry thoroughly between overhead waterings. Though this year we're using buried drip lines so this protocol is subject to change if we ever go 4 or 5 days without rain. LOL
