I am growing a Giant Pumpkin and have a watering question. I water twice a day for 3 minutes. I feel my growth is slow. I also fertilize with 10-10-10 once a week. how can I increase growth? Weigh of is in 1 month...

What seed did you plant? When you water for 6 minutes a day I am going to assume you are getting about 5 gallons per minute. Unless you are having a rain season you need more water. You should be watering like 700 gallons per week. For fertilizer are you using a water soluble one?

I was given a 2145 something. I have the genetics somewhere but cant find it... The fertilizer I am using is from the nursery near my house. It is small, different colored balls. I have been mixing it in warm water to form a liquid solution that I pour at the root area. I will try increasing my watering and see if it increases my growth. I am afraid of splitting.

2145...meh, could be decent. Lol. As far as the water goes, moist not wet is the key. Unless your irrigation system really pumps out lots of gpm, twice a day for 3 min sounds on the low side but the key is watch the soil.
