There are better fertilizers. Miracle Grow is a quick acting and very soluble fertilizer that is high in salts. Organic is better.

When I started I used miraclegro. It was what some of my friends that are gardeners used. I cant say it didn't work or it was bad. Now that I'm into growing giant pumpkins and other stuff I have found that there are other ferts that are better. I don't buy into the organic branding so much. I do look for more natural choices. It's all chemical fertilizer in some way.If your new and it's what your comfortable with for now use it. As you gain experience and try other ferts you'll find what works for you. good luck.

Try the NPK/RAW line of water soluble products. They have a great utube video discussing when and why to use their line of products. Beni meier grew his three world records using water soluble fertilizers and mostly planting medium very little soil.

It is high in nitrogen it would be fine to use it for the first few weeks then I would switch to a more balanced like 20-20-20 until a week before pollinating. Then switch to a fruit booster like 0-54-24 you can get it at Hollands Giants.
