This stuff is running up here in Canada. Just wondering how good it is for the plants. Do you think it is worth the work to get some.

Jim Bryson grew his 1818.5 world record using diluted late season maple syrup. The late season syrup has a molasses like color, has many trace minerals, and contains various growth hormones.

I would contact the GVGO if you want to learn in detail how Jim went about using maple syrup.

The syrup will not spoil if unsealed. Once opened, it will develop a mold on the surface of the container if not kept refrigerated. The mold can be removed by pouring the syrup thru a strainer and the rest of the syrup should be good.
