Has anyone grown a 2000 pounder where treated (chlorine or chloramine) municipal water was the primary source of irrigation?

Gene's success is actually what prompted my question. He wrote in the SNGPG newsletter that "a lot of rain water and not as much city water" was one of the reasons for his great season.

we watered with municipal water last year (1921).
