my well water has a ph of 8.0 . would like to know ph of others using well water and if your using any kind of ph reducer .also would like to know if any of you have grown 1500 lb plus pumpkin with high ph water

Water pH depends upon a host of factors. if you are concerned or have questions it should be tested for irrigation suitability.
One of the issues we have in Ontario and I'm sure MI is Bi-carbonates in the water tis up Ca in the soil. If your plumbing fixtures have white film on them then there is usually a large problem.
In the past I have treated my water down to 5.5 as this level is needed to keep Ca soluble in the soil.
