I did not know that this product would increase soil ph when I ordered it. Should it affect the ph enough to cause issues? The ph was 7.4 last fall but winter rye was tilled in the spring and is still decomposing. The soil is clay and it is really difficult to change the ph of it usually.

Nick, you would have to use alot of it to affect the overall PH of your soil....how many gallons do you expect to use per 1000 sq ft?

I use it as a foliar supplement and dont expect it to alter my PH at all.

I just plan to use it for my vegetable garden, maybe through the drip system. I am also planning to use it on my watermelon patch later on in the year. I am probably not going to use that much of it, just a bit because the my soil test results said to fertilize with nitrogen and potassium only because the phosphorus was extremely high in the vegetable garden and it will balance it out a little.

How much do you put in a gallon Glen? I just sprayed 3 gal with .5 tsp a gal.

Glen is absolutely correct, used at the recommended rate of 1-2 oz per gallon foliar, it will not raise your ph, as a foliar it should only hit your leaves.

Darren, Tom answered the question...but I use it at 1 oz per gallon (or less) for foliar.
