I found a good deal on kelp meal; only thing it is from a feed store for animals; is this the same thing as what we use for pumpkins?

If it's the Acadian Kelp meal, you should be good to go! (most of the stuff in N. America is from that company)

Maybe someone knows for sure but when researching some kelp was listed as no more than 9% salt (feed) and others were about 4.2% Chloride and 4.3% Sodium (garden). I theorize that these were basically the same.
