What is the official position on their use. I thought I read somewhere that the use of anti-transpirants was illegal at the judged weigh-ins.
Also, can anyone comment on their use on foliage &/or fruit?

Here onion growers use them when transplanting seedlings with bare roots. And I believe that many fruit dealers and supermarkets use this stuff on apples, carrots and other fruits and vegetables in order to prevent them to dry out. I wonder why my "natural" carrots wilt in one day, and the supermarket ones last turgid almost a week. Carlos
