I've read a lot of good things about goat manure so I hauled in a couple of tons this morning to mix with my rabbit manure. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hi Pappy, it is very similar to sheep manure, both of them are richer in N and K than cows and horses manure, I've used then and plants look to have a real boost, but often carryes a lot of weeds seeds.

Hey Pappy, my wife won't go for the hutches how am I gonna get her to go for mountains and tin cans?...Snow melted up here and got some more leaves...well that can be a mountain!. Threw 100 lbs of urea on top 46-0-0 and some compost enhancers plus 50 lbs of wet coffee grinds gonna have a warm spell so gonna have him turn the leaves one more time! Pappy she'll never let me have the goat!

Pappy, sounds like you got a load of $X!+ to deal with down there... Mix it up with some greens, soil, and compost, Keep it wet, turn it every few weeks, spread it over the top 3 inches, till deeply, and you will have a super soil for you pumpkins next season!

I trade goat manue for the use of our tractor. The neighbors borroaw the flatbed trailer and even unload it behind the pumpkin patch. Great neighbors.

I like to see all manure about half to finished compost before going on top. The fresh stuff deserves to be put down under as a mother load. The results are fewer weeds.

Well I put another pile of goat and rabbit crap on my patch today. I'm very happy!! Should have about 6 inches covering it when I get it spread out. I hear the wind will start blowing east to west in the next few thousand years booth. Be prepared!! LOL

Pappy; where i live it`s dairys, more dairys, and just when you think you`re past dairys, you run into the silage mountains that they feed at the dairys. i can`t decide which smells worse, rotting fermented corn silage, or 150' high mountains of digested rotten corn silage surrounded by 12" deep dark brown10 day old digested silage covering 200 acres in a quick-sand like pond with 2000 cows adding more to it by the minute. multiply that by 1000 dairys next to it and, well, you get the picture.Got milk? ya but i`d trade it quick for a Bud lite and a breath of fresh air!!! dairy farms suck.if we get a few more, maybe all that sucking will cause an east to west wind before a thousand years comes. worse of all they won`t even let ya have a truck load of it for the patch!! they want to spread it on their 2000 acres of corn to start another pile of stink all over again. great-great granpa came here from Georgia, by way of Arkansas. maybe it`s time to come home. Heee Haawwwwww! booth
