I do it all the time through my mister blower. Im no expert but i BELIEVE it gets absorbed through the leaves also.

Yes, use 1/10 to 1/8 of a teaspoon per gallon H2O. You can mix it with Talstar or any other 7.9% bifenthrin, up to 1/2 oz bifen, and spray together with no problems. The Merit won't go all through the plant however, it stays in the leafs.

It only stays in leaves? Does that include the leaf stalks too? If not, can't see much of a point to it.

All the insects that eat from the leaves, aphids, cucumber beetles, etc., will be killed if they manage to avoid the contact killer or if a contact killer isn't used.
