Can I bury vines with peat humus?

You can add peat moss or peat humus in the spring or fall with your other ammendments to increase organic matter in your patch.
Just dig a small trench in front of your vines and let them be gently lowered into this trench and cover with the native soil.

I would add the humus to your own patch soil then bury with it. Just straight humus might cause problems.
