I've got a pile of last year's (2007)semi-composted old prunings, vines, grass clippings and other garden waste. Is it a good idea to till this back in to my patch this spring or am I asking for disease trouble if I do? What do you do with your old vines, prunings and pumps? Would like to hear from successful growers. Thanks in advance.

If your vines weren't diseased last year they should be OK. If you did see Fusarium (or similar) then the debris should be properly composted to 130*F. Powdery Mildew spores from last year may be ignored. They do not live over winter.
