Is it possible to run liquid fish/kelp through an overhead sprinkler? If so, what equipment do I need? Or how do I go about it?

you will need a lot of fish most mixing direction is at least 2 oz to the gal of water and some 4-6 foliar is you best bet-----

I've got a lot of liquid fish/kelp Craig; although I'd likely go less concentrated than the recommended amount. Or I could go with the recommended amount, and water it in. Just wondering if there's an applicator that can go between the hose and the sprinkler. It would take me many years to use up all the fish/kelp I have, if I just used it for foliar spraying. I'm guessing I have about 3 gallons.

I've done it. Used a Scott's Miracle Grow feed in-line with the sprinklers. Fine mister heads are prone to clogging with fertilizer but normal irrigation heads shouldn't have any problems.

I did the last few years. 16 ozs of the stuff every 3 days in a miracle grow feeder like Steve says. Now I just run it thru the irrigatiion system.

This set-up is connected to misters but could be hooked up to over head sprinklers just as easily. Using a 200 Micron filter I have had no problems with misters clogging.

Doug, ole DocGipe turned me on to this fertilizer injector quite a few years back...works great. E-Z flow fertilizer injector, comes in a few sizes and with great mixing/instructions for various products.

I do it all the time with no problems. I use a garden hose to feed the water to my sprinkler heads. I put a screen that you use on hoses on the end that comes out of my irregation pipe. I just mix the fish seaweed and what ever else I want to add and dump it in my tanks when I pump the water out.It also goes into the soaker hose.

Doug, I run all my seamix through my overhead sprinklers as Tremor and Steve suggested. If your using the plastic sprinkler heads I would strongly suggest you switch to the metal ones they work remarkably better.

Are you ready for a patch tour?
