We are having tons of rain, and it seems that looking looking at new growth that the soil is starting to get deprevided of stuff, But since i,m in the middle of pollinating what should i use, Thea?, npk?, just wondering , what do you all do after heavy rains....

Usually, after rain, I watch the plant 'jump' in growth from the N in the rain. It's hard to say but maybe you are seeing the results of the plant's metabolism starting to bulk fruit? Maybe the vine growth will slow down for a week or two while this happens? At this point you would want the blooms and fruit to get all they need so potassium and phosphorus might be best. So, if you can, organic ferts like fish or kelp and potassium sulphate until fruit is set.

I would like to know if we can borrow some of your warm weather. Today it is a scorching 58 degrees and windy... still! I could deal with bugs, but it is somewhat difficult to make sunshine, would heater cables help without sunshine???
