If the soil around the plant stays damp enough for a little green moss to grow, is that too much water? I am water roughly
0.83 gallons a day for three plants in one hoop house. I dont want to have any issues with fungi this year.

My general feeling is that if you know the amount of water to the hundredth your giving those plants they are probablly in good hands!!

The "little green moss" is probably from a high concentration of Phosphoros and potasium combined with a moist warm environment it should be fine and wont contribute to any plant diseases.

LOL, yeah, I suppose so. I only know because I use 1 GPH drip emmitters and a digi timer to control the water. I dont actually measure that out.

hoop house is not real conditions, soon that will go away and so will the moss, water less often and more deeply
