I only use 10-52-10 as a transplant/ starter fertilizer for about 1 week after transplant, then switch to 20-20-20 until early June when they start to run, then high N fert, like 35-5-10 until pollination, then back to 20-20-20 or even a mixture of 20-20-20 and 10-52-10 threw pollination, then back to the 20-20-20.
I use couple handfulls of fertilizer in 5 gals of water. I start off with about two to three quarts of solution per plant, then gradually increase to up to 5 gallons per plant and apply about once a week.
