I was debating on using that Agro-K program after hearing how successful it has been with grower, but it would be a hard sell with the Miss's dishing out nearly 400 bucks for a veggie.

Instead I'm going to pick up a 5 gallon bucket of neptunes fish/seaweed mix. When it comes to ferts, any ideas. I would like to spray daily, but not sure what else to pick up. Any bright ideas?

As far as ideas--if you have flowers--garden- bushes you can use whats left over after you spray the pumpkins---I suggest this to all growers and there are some pretty nice garden and flower beds out there---Ask Drew Papez-----craig

If I use Molasses on off days, should they be sprayed on top or underneath the leaves, and in what concentrations to the gallon?

It used to be recommended that molasses be applied to foliage but, lately, it is thought that only ground application is useful due to the fact that molasses acts as "sunglasses" on foliage. The sugars in molasses needs to be broken down before they are useful. Microbes must feed on the molasses and break its elements down in order for it to be of any use.

Randalls, Quart program would surfice for two years lowering total cost quite a bit, I like the program and credit it for recovering my extensive hail damage last year...I cant wait to try it again this year hopefully with the hail balls....

Randalls, I have been using molasses as a foliar for the last 3 years. I use roughly 1 tablespoon per gallon in a compression sprayer. This has been a big success for helping to keep healthy leaves healthy late in the season for me. I use molasses as a foliar 3-4 times a week. I should mention that I also overhead water, this probably minimizes any build up that may occur for other growers. John

John is right on. I'm sure of one thing. I used a lot of foliar Black Strap Molasses. Perhaps to much. Since staying in the soil drench area only I have seen a much stronger plant. I know some still do foliar with molasses but I for one have ceased molasses foliar application.
