I have a small supply of Algoflash liquid fertilizer. Has anyone out there ever tried this French-made formula? It holds records for the world's largest chrysanthemum.. Does the same hold true for Pumpkins? All-purpose formula is 6-7-6, Other formulas for tomato have higher K content.

As it doesn´t sound like a formula used among the growers here, it might be a question of concentration. I used a liquid Guano fertilizer intended for flowers 4-3-3 in my water can several times a week (1 time per week was suggested), and even if the plants are not really fast-runners right now, they have flowers all over. I saw much bigger plants here, but with less flowers. So it might be about experimenting with different low-dose stuff and reapplication.

Yo Darby, The first pumpkin ever weighed over 700lb was here in England. The grower used ALGOFASH, I know, he told me, and he was used in their advertising campaign. I have tried it and found it of no use at all, great for flowers and for growing giant radish. I use other fertilizers instead for my pumpkins.
