I am trying to decide between 3 Lesco products: Green Flo 8-8-16, Green Flo 0-0-25, and MacroN Water soluble 20-20-20. What would be my best bet? Also, what is the determining factor as to when to start a finishing fertilizer? - time of year? - size of pumpkin? - age of pumpkin? Appreciate your help! Glenna

The following assumptions are based on the guess that you know your soil tends to run out of Potash every year around now & that this is an established fact based on history & soil tests.
8-8-16 is cool if the plants need a little Nitrogen. 0-0-25 is also cool especially if the plants have enough N or high organic matter in the soil.
20-20-20 might deliver too much N on high organic soils. Low OM soils should benefit at rates *possibly* all the way up to 1 lb per plant per week.
Personally I like Potassium Nitrate (lower chloides & faster release) but it's getting harder to find.
