I mix up my seaweed from a powder, bought Calcium in 2.5 gal container, etc. I would like to mix and store my fertilizers in smaller containers to keep outside by the garden.

Can I store this in rinsed quart sized shampoo bottles, laundry detergent bottles or similar? I figure it needs to be a "solid" colored bottle, but that as long as rinsed well, I should be okay. Anything I should stay away from?

buy a new container or use one, keep shaded i leave mine out all the time when i'm tierd, but when i'm rested i put up , doesnt hasn't hurt anything yet. Rog Oh! and shake up well before use again, its not a great idea , but it works

Rog, sorry but I am a bit confused "buy a new container or use one..." Did you mean I can use any container, or did you mean I could use a new bottle or an old "fertilizer" bottle. I see in your diary last year that you have "other" bottles like laundry detergent bottles in some of the pics. Not sure if you are doing the pumpkins laundry or .... LOL.

Sorry I am thick here. I always shake it up, but trying to pour 3 ounces of Calcium out of the 2.5 gal bottle is a PIA and I would like to make a few quarts of seaweed prior to needing them.

I have a big "hair conditioner" bottle (Costco sized) and have rinsed that out a ton and also a Tide bottle I would like to use. Having success so far so I don't want to curse it. I am so superstitious that I bought a new bigger sprayer and won't even use it as I am afraid to change. Now I know why sports players wear the same underwear for games on end when they are on a streak!
