Is liquid calcium chelate 12% the right stuff to put on your pumpkin to help them from cracking. Its made by fertall and it says the calcium chelate is derived from citric acid and calcium chloride.thanks quinn

The product that Stelts and others is using goes by the brand name Foli-Cal. Not sure of the exact ingredient content.

I know Tim Parks has some, for he has some put aside for me. He can probably tell you if your calcium chelate will work as well, and what's in Foli-Cal. His phone (330)-533-7278.

looked up foli-cal and came up with this website.

looks like the manufacturer of foli cal but I could see where to get it from...Has Pdf files explaining alot of different products Chuck

The above link is correct but I couldn't get in using it. shortened it and stopped at clawel and it went in. then looked up specialty fertilizers and went to the mannitol site..it lists foli-cal as 10% calcium made from calcium acetate
